When I moved to this house in 2007, I inherited my first garden. The front was pure concrete (see photo) and the back was overgrown shrubs surrounded by leylandii trees. I have been gradually transforming it all and it has become an increasing source of inspiration for me.

The bungalow itself was in quite a state of disrepair and that is a work in progress. What were two small, unprepossessing bedrooms, became my studio. I have made the whole house fairly open plan with my work everywhere.
